ASHKAN NOROOZKHANI

Born in Tehran in 1984, he discovered photography within the Association of Young Directors. He completed his training in Paris where he met many prominent photographers and acquired solid experience. The different subjects evoked in his work relate to the historical and social dimension of his native country, Iran. Thus, documentary photos play a major role in his work and can take shape through portraits or archive photos. In his last book,”GREEN-BLUE THEN GREY” he focused on the evolution of women’s place and their path to emancipation in Iran.
