My name is Sophie Sepideh Bayzaie. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in the field of Industrial Design from the Iran University of Science and Technology.
I landed as a permanent re s i d e n t i n C a n a d a i n September 2013. The last job I had prior to immigrating to Canada was website content manager in Nikan Mammut Charity Foundation. I worked three years in that role. In Canada I started working part time in a company called Precise Testing Solutions which held online English language CELPIP test for people who wanted to emigrate to Canada. Simultaneously, I took some courses in George Brown college to be able to get back to the Design field.
In November 2017 I started working as a freelance Architectural 3D modeler and illustrator. In April 2019, I decided to change my field of work for personal reasons and joined Fresh City Farms Company and I’ve been working full time with this company as a customer experience team member since then.
I am really passionate about Persian culture and I believe that it’s on each and every one of us to pass along the beauty of our culture to the next generation. I hope by participating in Tirgan Festival and specifically in Tamooz Event, I could have a small part in this valuable mission.
