Marjan Hassaneini

My name is Marjan Hassaneini. I graduated from the Cultural Heritage University of Iran in the program of Traditional Arts. I started my artistic activities by getting employed as a miniature and design specialist. Since then, I have collaborated and worked in many artistic exhibitions, workshops, galleries and biennials. After concluding my knowledge in miniature paintings and design, I created my own innovative and creative style of art; a style in which miniature painting and design is amalgamated with pottery and clay work. As a consequence of this amalgamation, thousands of plates, sculptures and other design elements were created, but more importantly, hundreds of people were educated and learned to deploy my artistic style. I believe that I am obligated to spread the beautiful and mesmerising art that originated from my home country of Iran, hence, I decided to expand my work to also include teaching and transferring my knowledge.
