Bahar Tavasoli

Bahar  is a graduate of the Tehran Music Conservatory in Performance. She studied the clarinet under the guidance of Rahmat Afshar and Akbar Mohammadi, and continued her studies with renowned musicians such as Peter Stoll and Joseph Orlowski after moving to Canada in 2011. She has many orchestral and ensemble performances as clarinetist, including with: the ICOT Symphony Orchestra, the Silverthorn Symphonic Winds, the Northdale Concert Band, the Tehran Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tehran Wind Orchestra, the Paitakht Wind Ensemble, the Fantastic Wind Quintet and Frarchit Trio. She has participated in several festivals such as Nuit Blanche and Tirgan, and has won many awards, such as the Tehran Youth Festival Award for clarinet performance.
